Established in 1982, RS Discounts is a family run business located in the historic and picturesque country town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale which is part of the Yorkshire Dales, we've grown from just one store to two retail stores along with our web site which now delivers our range of Seasonal, Gift Items, Hardware, Homeware, Gardening and Outdoor products direct to your door. From our humble beginnings our passion has always been to provide our customers with quality products, value for money and the level of service they deserve.


Order Placement

All orders placed receive a flat rate shipping charge of £4.99 (Inc Vat) as standard and orders placed before 4.00pm are shipped out the same day (Subject to Stock Availability). Orders received after 4.00pm or over a weekend or public holiday will be dispatched the following working day.  No matter how many items you want, you still only pay a single delivery charge per order, whether you purchase lots of small items, you  still only pay a flat rate delivery charge to have your items delivered. To place an order simply add the items you want to your shopping trolley and then click your trolley symbol and follow the checkout process.


Delivery Information

All orders are shipped using the Royal Mail's First Class next day delivery service as standard at the rate of £4.99 (Inc Vat) to the UK Mainland (Only) and the Royal Mail aim to deliver your goods the next working day which can include Saturdays, this service is non-trackable and is not a recorded service. Please be aware that as part of the Royal Mail's terms of service a parcel can not be considered lost until 15 working days after dispatch, but please contact us if your goods have not arrived within this period.

Cancellation & Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a period of 14 days after the date of delivery within which you can cancel your purchase and get your money back, including the original postage and packaging charges. However, you must pay the cost of returning the item which should be sent by recorded delivery.

If you wish to cancel your purchase you must notify us within 14 days of taking delivery using the online contact form under the Returns section of our website. Any unwanted item returned, must be un-used and in the original un-damaged saleable packaging and sent back with a copy of the original receipt within 21 days.

If you think you have a faulty or damaged item you should simply state the problem using our online Contact Form The goods should then be returned by recorded delivery within 7 days stating the fault and accompanied with your original receipt for a full refund or exchange.
